The inaugural Blood Disorders Day in 2015 was an award-winning success.
The event for Primary Care, which had 380 registrants attending in person or via Manitoba Telehealth, received the National Continuing Professional Development award for 2015 by the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
Local speakers offered their expertise and algorithms of care that pragmatically summarized the work-up/management of a given disorder and indicated when referral is suggested.
