June 21st marks National Indigenous Peoples Day, a time to honour and celebrate the history, heritage, resilience, and diversity of our First Nation, Métis, and Inuit Peoples. It reminds us of the importance of embracing and respecting the diverse cultures and histories of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.

National Indigenous Peoples Day allows one to explore Indigenous traditions, narratives, and achievements. Their resilience and enduring presence continue to shape and enrich Canada.

Let us join together today in celebration and reflection. Together, we can foster an environment of inclusivity, respect, and mutual understanding. This day invites us to engage with Manitoba's Indigenous communities' vibrant cultural heritage and support initiatives that promote their well-being and empowerment.
