Blood Disorders Day 2016 for Health Professionals
Friday, June 17, 2016.
Frederic Gaspard Theatre, Basic Medical Sciences Building, U of M Bannatyne Campus
On behalf of CancerCare Manitoba and Community Oncology Program-UPCON, the organizing committee would like to invite you to attend the 2nd annual Blood Disorders Day for Health Professionals.
Topics for this year's Blood Disorders Day 2016 were selected by surveying health care practitioners in Manitoba and they directly address priority learning needs. The speakers are dynamic, expert Hematologists who will present relevant information and provide you with those highly sought-after 'algorithms of care'.
The College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada have accredited this event for 5.5 credits.
Our inaugural Blood Disorders Day in 2015 was an unqualified success! Recognized strengths of the one day conference included, high quality local speakers and 'algorithms of care' that pragmatically summarized the work-up/management of a given disorder and indicated when referral is suggested.
Awarded the National CPD award for 2015, by the College of Family Physicians of Canada, this event had over 380 registrants who attended or joined by Telehealth.
