	Accreditation with Exemplary Standing
	CancerCare Manitoba(CCMB) has achieved Accreditation with Exemplary Standing, the highest level possible from Accreditation Canada. We are very proud of this outstanding result, which reflects the ongoing intensive efforts of CCMB Board members, executive, staff, and patients, in ensuring CCMB continues to provide the highest quality cancer care to Manitobans. Accreditation Canada provides North American health care facilities with external peer review on a four-year cycle to assess and improve health care services, based on standards of excellence. Click to view final Accreditation Standing. In December 2011, Accreditation Canada conducted extensive surveys at all CancerCare Manitoba locations. CCMB met an exceptional 97% of the indicators used in the accreditation process, and was given an interim accreditation rating pending submission of further data. In June 2012, upon completion of review by Accreditation Canada’s Decision Committee, CCMB was awarded Accreditation with Exemplary Standing, the highest designation available.
